Capture the flag

We split into two even teams. My team have to wear bands so we don’t get confused by who is in what team. Anyway where was I, oh now I remember... TWEEEET went the deafening whistle. It’s game time. Each team is on a mission, to steal the others precious flag, dodge the defenders and win!

We all frantically scan the battlefield, searching for the hidden treasure.

We dodge our rivals almost tripping over the the saturated pebbles that lay beneath us. I feel someone tap me on the shoulder, I turn around and groan, I never thought that I would end up in jail. My team was now without a member. Well… for now. I spend spend thirty valuable seconds in juvy before I am finally freed by the other teams guards.

I took a second attempt to get to the treasure with half of my team held captive, I realise that it’s up to me to find it before I get tagged for the second time.

I catch a glimpse of something blue out of the corner of my eye. I have found it. My team and I instantaneously recited our genius plan, there would be a couple of people to distract the other team, and one person would be the sacrifice while the rest of our team scatter into the other teams teratorie. I race around dodging tyres and ropes. I then start to climb up the forts while cautiously watching out for members of the other team. A few of my fellow team members are spotted, but not me, at least not yet.

“CHEATERS!” Screeches Mackenzie. At last I spy the golden flag, I head towards it snatching it up I wave it gloriously in the air. TWEET! The game is over and our team won.

Descriptive 100 word challenge

That wondrous, glorious feeling you get as you stroll through the forest, when a slight breeze brushes you softly and the gentle smell you inhale reminds you of summer evenings. It makes you happy. When everything is silent, except for a few birds singing joyfully in some nearby Oak trees. The heartwarming feeling you get is called peace. Peace is something that you need to hold on to forever. You must cherish this, as it is very fragile, even the slightest of noise could break it. Im telling you this because I found peace once, but I never held onto it.

The magical hat

Chapter 1:

One magical day...

One magical evening there sat a hat in the middle of a dark gloomy forest
the air as cold as ice. that hat was about to be the most magical hat to ever exist
but nobody knew what was coming.

The story was told that the magical hat was made and wore by
the first ruler of enchancia in 1426.

This is how the story was told…

On the very magical morning on that very magical day,
Delilah the first ruler of enchancia went riding on her horse through the forest.
She started to hear peculiar noises, those noises scared her horse so much that her horse
ran away never to be seen again. Meanwhile poor Delilah standing there shocked
took the hat off the top of her head and said to it,
“oh hat, oh hat, bring me strength bring me out of the depth of this forest.”
But little did she know she had just put a spell upon the hat a magical spell.
She ran away not knowing where or when she would find her way home.

Chapter 2:

Will she ever get home?...

She ran in all different directions shrieking at the sight of the forgotten trees rotting away

All of a sudden she came to a gigantic hole in the ground.
Out of the whole came a crazy scientist who offered to create an explosion that would take her home
only if she helped the crazy scientist in his wild dimension, of course she agreed
and instantly got dragged through the portal straight away.

Where will she end up?...
Nobody knows...

My holidays

In the holidays I spent most of my time swimming in the luxurious pool at 'Anchorage beach resort' relaxing in the hot hot sun of Fiji islands. For the first time ever I finally relax and have some piece and quite sitting in the shade made by the Fijian fan palm sipping coconut milk from freshly a cut coconut. At night time I sat and watched the sun set and the waves crashing onto shore. I also enjoyed my lovely spa time. Anyway that's how I spent my holidays.

Tekapo camp Y7

On the 9th of august the Y7s went to Tekapo for school camp. 

We did lots of activities such as skiing & snow tubing. My favourite was skiing although ice skating was pretty awesome! 

I was very excited to share  a cabin with my friends.
