Aboriginal Art.

Aboriginal art is based on important ancient stories. Aboriginal art, is based on stories such as "Jukurrpa" and symbols centered on 'the Dreamtime' – the time in which Indigenous people believe the world was created. The Dreamtime stories are up to and possibly even exceeding 50,000 years old, and have been handed down through the generations and no one has changed it for many years.
For Inquiry this term we have been learning the different types of styles and meanings that aboriginal arts has and we have also been told a couple of stories about aboriginal art and its culture.

The Waterfall walk

My heart was beating like a drum as i charged up the mountain. It was the hottest day ever!. We reached a little stream with stepping-stones.We crossed the stones with a splish! and a splash! Yay we made it to the other side, " how long till we get there?" we all moaned "soon" replied the adults.
All of a sudden I heard lots of buzzing. "AHHH , calm down Lilly ," i said in my head "its probably just some wasps," Replied one of the Teachers. BANG! BANG! a boy was smacking a wasp nest into a tree! "AHHH!" we all screamed our heads of as the wasps stung us , it was a massive wasp attack!.
We crossed a bridge with a sign saying 20 minutes to the waterfall  "Yay" we all said. We reached the waterfall . It was absolutely stunning,  it was breathtaking, the most beautiful thing i have ever seen!.
